Kenosha Industrial Development Diesel Particulate Emissions Health Risk Assessment
Raney prepared a Health Risk Assessment for diesel particulate emissions utilizing both California standards for diesel PM emissions and health risks and the State of Washington standards.
The Kenosha Industrial Development project is located in Tumwater, WA and consists of constructing a distribution warehouse on approximately 48 acres; including two warehouse buildings totaling 152,750 square feet and one two-story retail and office building. Raney, under contract with the applicant, prepared a Health Risk Assessment (HRA) to address health risks associated with diesel particulate matter. Because the State of California is more stringent on air quality impacts and has more data available regarding diesel PM emissions, City of Tumwater staff requested that the HRA be performed using California standards for diesel PM emissions and health risks in addition to State of Washington standards.
