AFFORDABLE HOUSING & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Raney Planning & Management, Inc. is seeking a full-time, in-office employee to work primarily in the Laurin Associates Division. This position would focus on Residential Relocation Plans & Implementation and/or Prevailing Wage and Labor Compliance Monitoring.
An ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor of Arts or Science and an interest in affordable housing and community development programs;
Experience in multi-family property management, with affordable housing property management experience strongly preferred;
Experience in construction and/or construction contract administration;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Strong project management abilities;
Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with a diverse client base;
Ability to work independently, while prioritizing and managing multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines;
Ability to interpret governmental regulations;
Ability to conduct interviews and make public presentations;
Knowledge of basic mathematics and statistics; and
Experience with Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat.

CEQA ASSOCIATE/TECHNICAL WRITER
Raney Planning & Management, Inc. is seeking a full-time employee to work primarily in the Raney Division focusing on environmental services. This position will support project managers in research and preparation of CEQA/NEPA documents.
An ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning/Urban Planning, English, Journalism, History, or related field;
Two years of recent California professional experience;
Strong project management abilities;
The ability to coordinate and maintain relationships with local agencies and clients;
Knowledge of basic mathematics and statistics;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
The ability to think critically and logically with experience in reviewing technical documents and creating clear, concise client-friendly reports; and
Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
The following qualifications are preferred:
Experience working on a wide range of public and private sector planning, community development, and CEQA projects; and/or
Experience with CalEEMod, AERMOD, EMFAC, Photoshop, or GIS.
This position requires in-office presence. The salary range is $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, Raney offers a competitive benefits package.
