Raney Planning & Management, Inc. is seeking an account assistant to the bookkeeper. The position will start as part-time, with the opportunity to turn into full-time, as individual training and proficiency in assigned tasks progress. Workload will include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, contract management, data entry, answering phones, filing, and other clerical tasks as needed. The position will also include assistance on tasks needed company wide, including Laurin Associates Division by making phone calls and site visits. An ideal candidate will possess:
  • College-level analytical skills and a minimum of one year of previous work experience in accounting;
  • Knowledge of MS Office products and QuickBooks software; and
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to work independently, in a timely manner, and with minimal direction is strongly desired. Candidates should also possess problem-solving skills and the ability to follow complex procedures while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
