Laurin Associates has been preparing quality market studies since 1981, for both affordable and market rate rental housing of all types, including farmworker, seniors, family, assisted living, and special needs populations.

Laurin Associates’ market studies are compliant with the guidelines of the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC) and the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC), all Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) programs, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Programs, and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs. Laurin Associates has completed market studies throughout the U.S. and is an active member of the National Council of Housing Market Analysts (NCHMA), which provides ongoing training for market analysts.

In addition to large family and senior housing studies, Laurin Associates has prepared numerous special needs studies, including those for:  homeless individuals and families; veterans; individuals living with developmental disabilities; individuals who are survivors of physical abuse; and homeless transitional age youth.
